2026 Arizona Trail Thru-hike Day 57 - Dropping into the Grand Canyon and Lemonade at Phantom Ranch.

Day 57 - Started at Mather Campground MP 697.4. We dropped into the Grand Canyon at South Kaibab Trailhead. Shortly after that we passed the 700 mile mark, but there was no marker.The views were amazing as we descended into the canyon. We made our way down to the Colorado River and went through the tunnel and over the bridge to get across. We continued on to Phantom Ranch for a lunch break and had multiple lemonades.
