🎓 *About the Career Path of Studying Medical School in Hungary* One route to becoming a doctor is to graduate from a medical school abroad, return to Japan with that qualification, and take the Japanese National Medical Licensing Examination. I've met many doctors, but I've never met a doctor close to me who had actually taken this path. I recently had the opportunity to work with an emergency medicine doctor at the emergency hospital where I currently work part-time. She graduated from Hungary's prestigious University of Pécs School of Medicine, and I interviewed her. She completed six years of medical education, taught entirely in English, in a foreign country, and obtained a medical license recognized in the EU. Furthermore, after returning to Japan, she took the Japanese National Medical Licensing Examination with only about six months of preparation, and passed with flying colors. There's no doubt that her incredible hard work and perseverance were behind this. She currently works in the demanding field of emergency medicine, and is a charming doctor who always has a smile on her face, even when on the job.
