LOS SNEAKERS SON COSA DEL PASADO ¿O NO? - KICKS THERAPY 2025

There's an idea circulating around, actually, for years, whose premise is based on the assertion that the importance of sneakers lies in their resale price. The same idea that says that hype dictates whether a pair is good or not. For people who think this way, kicks are a fad, they came across them by chance, and when popularity declined (and the potential profit they could make from them as well), they simply jumped ship. Fortunately, not everyone thinks this way; they even act accordingly. Armando Hayashi is a tireless streetwear icon in Guadalajara—not to mention Mexico—who has known how to be patient and read the direction of the wave. Kicks Therapy, his project, started out as a resale expo, like all others, but over the years it has matured (and weathered these waves of popularity that rise and fall) enough to stay afloat, but without halting the growth of his offering. This year's edition grew in every way, from the location to the number of exhibitors, but without a doubt, what continues to draw the most attention is the ability of the creative people in Guanajuato to continue producing quality brands, and that's what we wanted to focus on this time. See you next year at Kicks Therapy.
