The virulent forest fire that broke out in Lleida, with two deaths and classified as a sixth-generation fire, is exceeding the firefighters' ability to extinguish the fire, spreading at a speed of 28 kilometers per hour. In a short time, it has devastated 5,300 hectares and has already been classified as the first major fire of the summer in our country. The fire, which has not yet been extinguished but has been stabilized, started in an agricultural area of ​​Torrefeta i Florejacs (Lleida), in the La Segarra region. According to initial hypotheses, a spark from a mower could be the cause.
