Ajaxfans verlaten verdrietig en boos de Johan Cruijff Arena

The match against AZ certainly didn't go as many Ajax fans had hoped. It started off well, but after AZ went 0-1 and especially 0-2, Ajax couldn't get anywhere near a result. Some fans had had enough long before the final whistle. "If you substitute Gloukh after 0-2, you just don't want to go forward. It's over as far as I'm concerned," says one of those fans, who is critical of Heitinga. "I think Heitinga's days are numbered; it's over." Another fan who went home earlier is much more lenient with the Ajax coach. "Yes, I'm going home. I can't bear to watch it anymore. It's terrible that a coach who can do a really good job doesn't have the players to do it," says the visibly sad woman. A little later, the rest of the fans come out as well. "I'm an Ajax fan through and through, let me make that clear," says one of them. "But despite this, this is really not Ajax-like, man. I'm worried about my club. For the first time in my life, I'm worried about my club." Where does he think the problem lies? "I don't even know if Heitinga is. I may not understand his choices, but I also think the board is playing a game." Wednesday marks the next difficult match for Ajax. The club will play a Champions League match against Chelsea in London. The fans are unanimous in their prediction that it will be a difficult affair. "I fear the worst," says one fan. Another: "We have absolutely no business being there right now." ❌ ❌ ❌ AT5 - Real Amsterdam News Subscribe to our YouTube channel here:    / at5   Tips or comments?
