Honderden fans Galatasaray op de Dam voor wedstrijd tegen Ajax

Ajax will play against the Turkish football club Galatasaray at 9:00 PM. Large crowds are expected on Dam Square this afternoon due to the Champions League match. Police officers are authorized to conduct preventative searches due to the risk of fireworks, for example. A few hundred Galatasaray supporters have gathered on terraces around Dam Square. The atmosphere is cheerful. Fans of the Turkish club are loudly chanting: "We are the best, Galatasaray!" Galatasaray fans are warned by matrix signs at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Turkish, English, and Dutch. Fireworks and face coverings are prohibited today. "Throw your fireworks in a container." Ajax also played against Galatasaray in January of this year during the Europa League. They won that match 2-1. Not many fireworks were set off outside the stadium then. According to the police, this was due to extensive searches beforehand. Nevertheless, some supporters managed to smuggle fireworks into the Johan Cruijff Arena and set them off there. ❌ ❌ ❌ AT5 - Real Amsterdam News Subscribe to our YouTube channel here:    / at5   Tips or comments?
