ОХ ЗРЯ Я ПОЛЕЗ НА ITCH IO...

Hi. A couple of months ago, I dove into the Itch.io abyss in search of interesting horror games. Among hundreds of crappy efforts, I unexpectedly found a few truly worthwhile titles. You really enjoyed that video, and in the poll, the majority voted for a second installment. So today, we'll once again delve into the darkest corners of Itch.io. But this time, I decided not to just show you random horror games, but to take you through the entire spectrum of local creations, everything you need to experience to reach the real gem. We'll start with the kind of utter crap that makes you want to delete it after five minutes, then look at projects with interesting ideas but sometimes lacking execution, and finally, we'll get to the real finds that make it worthwhile to occasionally dig through this vast dump of indie horror. So, pour yourself a pint of dumplings, brew a pot of stout, and let's get going. When people talk about indie horror, they usually picture small, atmospheric games. They lack the budget, but they have a unique idea. They lack the graphics or mechanics, but they have a unique atmosphere. But Itch.io works a little differently. It's a place where future masterpieces like No Iam Not a Human or Miside can coexist, along with strange experiments and games that look like they were made in one evening after watching a tutorial like "How to Create a Horror Game in 10 Minutes in Unity Using a Neural Network: Insert Your Own AI Agent." And the most interesting thing is, you never know what awaits you. A simple description and a picture. Sometimes you open a game and think, "Okay, this clearly has potential." And sometimes, five minutes later, you're sitting there wondering, "Why did anyone even download this? And he even wants money for it." And it's with these kinds of games that we'll start today. From the very bottom. From projects that not only don't scare you, but make you feel such shame that you end up laughing hysterically because there are so many questions. From those that were made for no apparent reason.
