This was the best day eating in Mexico… and it happened in Oaxaca 🇲🇽😳 We tried a trio of Oaxacan moles in one of the most special places we've ever visited, and we weren't prepared for what was about to happen. In this video, we traveled to San Martín Tilcajete, Oaxaca, the famous town of alebrijes, to visit a traditional restaurant called Almu, recognized even in the Michelin Guide, where we tried one of the most important dishes in Mexican cuisine: mole. Mexico has one of the best cuisines in the world, and Oaxaca is considered one of the most important destinations for understanding traditional Mexican food. Here, we tried three types of mole on a single plate: mole negro, mole coloradito, and mole estofado, each with completely different, intense, and unique flavors.
