R 1200 GS Teardown: Removing the Final Drive, Rear Shock, Swing Arm and Drive Shaft
In this video, I remove the driveline components beyond the transmission - the final drive, rear shock, swing arm and drive shaft. Tools needed: T 30 and T 50 torx drivers 15, 16 and 24 mm sockets 30 mm socket with the bevel ground down recommended especially if you're reinstalling the swing arm 12 mm hex driver long ratchet extension and a rubber mallet Please note I am not trying to save or salvage any parts (unless so stated) from this motorcycle, so I may engage in destructive behavior not conducive to reusing some parts.
