San Diego Railfanning Tour Volume 2: UTC Transit Center

The Blue Line Extension to UTC opened in late November and since its opening the line has been of partcular interest to me. I'm not the most knowledgeable about light rail operations here in the states but since seeing San Diego Trolley sets as a kid (and recently seeing a set of saved cars at the Southern California Rail Museum in Perris) I have become enamored with the red-and-black LRVs of MTS and their viaduct-happy extension to La Jolla. Most of the line in and around La Jolla and University Village is on viaducts after it leaves the roadbed of the Surfline, and these views were shot one morning early in December at the UTC Transit Center, the end of the extension.
