San Diego Railfanning Tour Volume 14: High Above El Cajon

Recently my partner and I visited Mt. Helix Park in Grossmont, which gives a fantastic overlook of both the joint Orange/Green line in El Cajon and the Orange Line south of La Mesa! Standing on top of the mountain, the intrepid railfan can watch MTS trolleys stop and turn at the El Cajon station for the return trip to Courthouse or continue on to Santee (which will be explored at a later date during the summer!), and this perspective is as cool as it is unique!
