Fonte Colombo: a escrita da regra - Episódio 21 da série: Caminhando com São Francisco de Assis

In this episode of the Walking with Francis series, we will visit the heart of the Rieti Valley in the Lazio region. There lies Fonte Colombo, one of the most important places in the history of Saint Francis of Assisi. It was in this hermitage, amidst silence, prayer, and fasting, that Francis withdrew in 1223 to write the definitive Rule of the Order of Friars Minor. After a profound process of discernment and some adaptations made with the help of Cardinal Ugolino and Pope Honorius III, the Rule was officially approved on November 29, 1223, and continues to guide the lives of Franciscan friars to this day. We will also talk about an event in the life of Saint Francis in which he calls fire his brother. Come walk with us through this setting in the life of Saint Francis and discover how listening to God, silence, and fidelity to the Gospel shaped one of the greatest spiritual experiences in Christian history.
