Honshirabe (本調) — shakuhachi honkyoku

I recorded this same piece 6 months ago. That time it was a pretty elaborate effort: multiple takes, some audio editing. I tried to make it beautiful. I think, that was not in the true spirit of honkyoku. Honkyoku is meditative music. In my opinion, it reflects your mind state. So, this recording is an honest first take.
