My Okuden Shakuhachi Recital

Recently I reached the third level of shakuhachi mastery — Okuden. By the rules of our school (‪@TairyuShakuhachi‬), I needed to give a recital. I played 7 pieces: two minyo songs, two pieces composed by Fukuda Rando, two honkyoku, and a sankyoku piece. This is not a perfect performance. I made mistakes, my tone and pitch were off. But I'm not ashamed of that. In the world where social media pushes perfected images and sounds, I'm not afraid to be imperfect. This video is an honest one take live performance.
