Today I'm in the Republic of Abkhazia, in the Caucasus, and I'm going to visit Stalin's favorite dacha in this southern region. I'm sure you've heard stories about other dachas of the man who was the USSR's supreme leader for 30 years, but none like this one, where he came exclusively to rest and recover from his health problems. This dacha is located in a privileged location, in the middle of the mountains just a few meters from the sea, on what was once known as the Soviet Riviera.
