Contax 139q w/ Zeiss Distagon

Follow me on my photowalk with the Contax 139 Quartz and Carl Zeiss Distagon lens using Kodak Portra 160. I always wanted to come back to the Contax line. About 5 years ago I had a Contax G1 for a few months and I was really stoked about the image quality. Unfortunately the camera itself was not for me: I prefer to shoot with SLR style cameras instead of rangefinders and so I sold the G1. But lately I was looking for a more modern 35mm camera again that could provide me excellent image quality and Contax with it's superb Zeiss glass came back to my mind. But this time I was looking for a suitable SLR body from the Contax line and I was quickly stuck with the 139 Quartz: A compact but quality camera that still has all manual settings and not some of the (to me) useless automatic functions that its successors have. All images have been scanned with a plustek opticfilm 7200 and converted with negativelabpro.
