So you have a nice DSLR camera and you want to take a photo of yourself but you’ve been asking yourself, “how do I focus my self portraits?” Nothing is worse than taking a photo of yourself with your DSLR camera and it being out of focus – it has happened to me on several occasions when I first started taking photos of myself with my camera! In this video I am going to show you two ways to photograph yourself so that your pictures are in focus. One method involves a remote and another no remote! I am Anna, a self-portrait and nature photographer currently based near Denver, Colorado. I am also a cycle instructor at a few local gyms! I grew up in Caracas, Venezuela and that is the whole reason I fell in love with photography as a young child. Self-portrait photography allows me to be anyone I want to be. My art often reflects important topics around fear, darkness and light and more recently starting conversations around miscarriage and still birth. Teaching has always been a love of mine and I am flattered when you request to learn things from me :) Thank you for being here with me!
