Fantasy Falls is one of the ultra classics of California, and one the best runs in the world. Fantasy Falls is one of the more high volume feeling runs of the season, with a ridiculous amount of whitewater. It has everything from slides, to drops, to some of the stoutest sequences you can do. In 2018 I did the first Fantasy Flush, which is where you run nearly the entire run without any portages. There is only one portage acceptable to consider it the Flush and that is a manky sieve rapid near the top of the run. Besides that you run every rapid on the run, including the big 3 which are stout enough on their own. It is a rowdy few days when you do the flush, especially at higher flows like we had in there this trip. It is just as glorious if you just do a normal lap, but when you do the flush, it makes it all time!
