Monday, July 13th — clear skies and sweltering heat. This was a round-trip hike starting and ending at Buinsa Temple, climbing up to Seobong (西峰, West Peak) and back. The trail was steep throughout, with a path that felt lightly trodden and untouched. What stood out most was the forest trail — shaded the whole way, yet bright light kept filtering through the leaves — and whenever the wind picked up, the air filled with birdsong and the chirping of insects.
