From ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS to a RURAL ESSEX BARN?

We are escaping PDP HQ for this Sunday's live stream and heading to one of our favourite places - School Farm Studios in Little Maplestead, Essex. The studio is owned by Audio Network co-founder Andrew Sunnocks who, for the last two and a half decades, has been Abbey Road Studios most prolific client, having produced over 4,000 sessions there. So when he decided to build his own studio on his farm in rural Essex, it made sense that he brought his favourite engineer with him - Stefano Civetta. After his first 'proper' job as the Pope's organist at St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican for 7 years, Stefano relocated to the UK, completed the highly regarded Tonmeister degree at the University of Surrey, and was then hastily employed by Abbey Road Studios where his 6 year tenure saw him working on much of their output including that from Will.I.Am, Skrillex, OneRepublic, Ed Sheeran, Nile Rogers, Bruno Mars, The Carpenters, The Beach Boys, Mary J Blige, One Direction, Earth Wind & Fire, Andrea Bocelli, Take That, Royal Blood, PJ Harvey, Harry Styles, Ellie Goulding, The Shires and Jack Garrat as well as a whole host of orchestral recordings on around 60 blockbuster scores including Solo: A Star Wars Story, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald, Our Planet, Avengers: Endgame, Rocketman, The Hobbit, The Martian, Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 and The Mummy. As if that wasn't enough, Stefano also worked with Giles Martin on remixing The Beatles classics and is credited on two of his all-time favourite albums, The White Album and Abbey Road. Top talent indeed. So join us at our usual time of 6pm (UK time) on Sunday 2nd Feb live from School Farm Studios, where we get to chat to Stefano about his incredible career, the upcoming workshop on 9th/10th April featuring Nik Kershaw and some of the UK's finest session musicians and, hopefully, are joined by Groucho the studio cat and a canine or three! Make sure to join the waiting list for our recording and production workshop on 9th & 10th April here: https://www.presentdayproduction.com/...
