The odd story of Ableton Live
Follow me on Instagram for channel updates! - / audioeats Ableton Live is best known as the premiere digital audio workstation for electronic music producers. But the story behind its creation is almost unbelievable. Co-founders Gerhard Behles and Robert Henke created the core functions of Ableton for their own personal use. They had no intentions of creating a consumer music technology product. But once third co-founder Bernd Roggendorf saw the value in what they had made, the trio formed Ableton, and Live hit the market two years later.
