Gold Star Brother Shares the Story Behind Remembering Our Fallen | Iowa Veterans
More than 5,400 American service members who gave their lives since the Global War on Terror are honored in the powerful Remembering Our Fallen memorial exhibit. In this episode of Still Serving Iowa Veterans, Carlene Hall and Darlene McMartin visit the exhibit in Shenandoah, Iowa, where they speak with Tyler Maher of the Veterans Memorial Museum. Tyler shares how the community came together to host the exhibit, why preserving these stories matters, and the deeply personal moment of finding his own brother's memorial banner. The exhibit features photographs and stories of the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice, ensuring their names and their lives are never forgotten. Through the efforts of Patriot Productions, volunteers, Gold Star families, and local communities, Remembering Our Fallen continues to honor America's heroes while supporting those left behind. If you have the opportunity to visit this exhibit during its remaining tour, it is an experience that leaves a lasting impression. 🇺🇸 Still Serving Iowa Veterans is dedicated to sharing the stories of Iowa's veterans, military families, organizations, and those who continue serving their communities. 👍 Like this video if you believe we should never forget those who gave everything. 🔔 Subscribe for more veteran stories, military history, and Iowa veteran news. #StillServingIowaVeterans #RememberingOurFallen #GoldStarFamilies #Veterans #MilitaryHistory #IowaVeterans #PatriotProductions #NeverForget #HonorTheFallen #MilitaryFamilies
