Winter Cod Fishing in Craster | Final Trip to Northumberland

In this video, I’m fishing the picturesque village of Craster, Northumberland, targeting big winter cod from the rocks during the colder months. This session marks the final episode in my Christmas fishing trip series, where I headed north in search of the cod that traditionally show along this coastline in winter. Like much of the UK this season, the fishing was slow and challenging, which has been a recurring theme throughout the entire trip. Despite fishing proven marks and putting the time in, bites were hard to come by — raising the question many anglers are asking this winter: where have all the cod gone?
