Koo stated that Park "unjustly demanded a confession from a suspect and provided outside food without justifiable grounds." However, regarding the allegations of a "salmon liquor party," the Supreme Prosecutors' Office stated, "We did not request disciplinary action in respect of the Inspection Committee's opinion that (Prosecutor Park) failed to prevent the bringing in and provision of alcohol due to negligence in management." On the same day, Minister Jeong stated, "We are also looking into the fact that Prosecutor Park attended and spoke at a pseudo-hearing hosted by the opposition party while refusing to participate in the parliamentary investigation, and expressed political views in the media." Prosecutor Park refused to take the witness oath during the "Parliamentary Investigation into the Yoon Suk-yeol Administration's Fabricated Indictments" held at the National Assembly on the 3rd of last month. Although he submitted a seven-page written explanation of his reasons, he was forced to leave the investigation room at the request of the ruling party. Subsequently, on the 7th of the same month, he attended a hearing separately organized by the People Power Party. It has been reported that the Incheon District Prosecutors' Office, to which Prosecutor Park belongs, also plans to conduct a preliminary investigation into Prosecutor Park before an internal inspection, separate from the Ministry of Justice.
