We sold our home, packed a van with our pets and children, and drove across Europe to start a new life in Portugal. 🇵🇹 What began as a simple relocation quickly turned into the biggest adventure our family has ever taken. In this video we share the real story behind our move to Portugal. After years of busy jobs, school runs, and feeling like life was moving too fast, we decided to make a change. We sold our home in the UK, quit our jobs, and set off on a family road trip across Europe with a dream of building a simpler, more sustainable life in Portugal. But the journey wasn’t just about moving countries. It became a life-changing adventure through 15 countries, unexpected challenges, and unforgettable moments with our kids. From van troubles in Hungary to exploring Morocco, snorkelling with turtles in Indonesia, and finally arriving in Portugal with no house yet—this is the story of how our new life began. Now we’re starting from scratch. Our goal is to find a small home with land, grow our own food, live more sustainably, and raise our children closer to nature and family.
