Woodturning - How to Create the Perfect Mirrored Finish!

As soon as I saw this Yew blank and knew I wanted it. I love the purple strips of colour and pink hue throughout the blank. I thought that it was only fitting to create a somewhat donut shaped bowl, or is it just me that thinks of pink frosting and sprinkles when I picture a donut? The bowl has been sanded to 5000 grit and finished with Danish oil and Wood wax. It's around 150mm at its widest point.
