Passenger's 1st flight - and it's a big one

Ben had been asking for a flight in the gyro. Not one to do things by halves, he chose Snowdon. On a perfect day, we set off from Sleap heading west. Question is - would he enjoy dangling 4,000 feet in the air as we flew into the bowl of the highest mountain in Wales? Shot in 4k using the new Insta 360 x4, GoPro Max and Hero 11. Includes commentary and ATC. Low flight over water is not as safe as sitting in an armchair sipping hot chocolate. But it wasn't quite as low as the wide angle cameras make it appear, and my passenger is something of a thrill seeker. Bonus points for anyone spotting my incorrect pressure setting on landing. I'm so used to dialling off 10 hPa from QNH for circuit arrival that I did the same when they gave me QFE. Not clever, but had the effect of elevating me from the gyro circuit height into the same vertical profile as the fixed wings, so no harm done, lesson learned, and I'll double check next time... #gyrocopteruk #gyrocopter #gyroplane #autogyro #stuwithaview
