We're in the unique natural setting of the Kaz Mountains, at the Eski Toprak İda farm within the Havran borders, enjoying a magnificent harvest day! In this video, we're participating in the 4th traditional harvest gathering of this special plant, known colloquially as "Immortelle" or "Golden Herb," ​​admired for its healing properties and power in cosmetics. Hosted by our esteemed teacher Nazım Tanrıkulu, we spent two days camping and harvesting immortelle flowers with nature lovers from Aydın, Istanbul, and even Italy, all while singing songs and folk tunes. At the Eski Toprak İda farm, we came together with Nazım Tanrıkulu and volunteers from all over the world for an "Immortal Gathering." We experienced firsthand the intricacies of medicinal and aromatic plant cultivation and the process of extracting essential oils using distillation machines at BAÇEM.
