It’s very common to eat different varieties of fruits such as dates, figs, pomegranates, olives and grapes. I find that my kids are quit disconnected from this holiday. So in order to get them more involved and excited I spent the day doing different fun activities with them. To incorporate nuts and seeds into the menu we made a delicious Baklava. We also decorated a chocolate tree with yummy goodies. Hope this provides you and your family some fun activities to do together on this day.
