In this video, we explain hyperacute pulmonary hypertensive crisis, a condition that is highly fatal in pediatric emergencies but easy to miss in the early stages. At first, it appears like a simple respiratory illness, but as pulmonary vascular resistance increases rapidly, the right ventricle collapses, eventually progressing to a state where oxygen levels do not rise at all.
