Shaoxing Rail Transit - Trainspotting at Qianqing

Back in late September 2025, I decided to escape from the Super Typhoon Ragasa, so I made a last minute trip to Hangzhou! Whilst I was in Hangzhou, I managed to make a day trip out to Shaoxing, which is Hangzhou's neighbouring city. Shaoxing also has a metro system, but only consists of two lines. This video, we will spot some trains at Qianqing Station along Line 1. It is one of the few overground stations along the line. Opened to passenger service on 21st June 2021 along with the rest of the initial section (a.k.a. Keqiao Section) between Guniangqiao and China Textile City. Line 1 is operated by two types of trains. PM139 (manufactured by CRRC Nanjing Puzhen) and ZBM02 (manufactured by Beijing Subway Rolling Stock Equipment Corporation Limited). As the station is situated next to the Hangzhou-Ningbo High Speed Rail Line, we will also see some high speed trains passing through at speed Filmed date: 24/9/2025
