2X More Power - SOCL Hybrid System Modification
Hybrid SOCL System Modification A hybrid system combines two stereo drivers into a mono system by essentially paralleling the R and L channel drivers. This results in double the driver amplification. The collector output of the VAS transistor of driver 1 is connected to the collector of the VAS transistor of driver 2. This is done to ensure the VAS output is the same to avoid distortion. Note: Hybrid system installation is permissible if the bias is stable and the DCO is 0. Hopefully this is helpful.
