The Class H Amplifier's PSU, or power supply, is very different from a Class AB Amplifier. Class H uses a dual PSU, with both a High Volt and a Low Volt. This is where the stepper function in a Class H Amplifier comes into play. If the input signal is -0dB, the collector terminal of the final transistor will be measured according to the Low Volt used. If the input signal is gradually increased to 0dB, the voltage at the collector terminal of the final transistor will match the input signal, with its peak voltage equal to the High Volt used.
