MSFS | JustFlight Piper PA28 Arrow III - FULL VFR Flight + AutoPilot and VOR Tutorial [+ Planning!)
Episode 5 in the JustFlight Piper PA28 Arrow III Tutorials for Microsoft Flight Simulator on the BritishAvgeek channel, we depart Denham Aerodrome (EGLD) for a wonderful VFR flight, and head down to the South Coast of England, arriving at Shoreham Airport (EGKA). We fly VFR all the way and I'll take you through the planning for today's flight whilst on the ground at Denham covering airspace restrictions, discussing NDB and VOR tracking in the PA28 (before we put it into practise in the flight!) and go through what to expect on arrival to Shoreham via the VRPs there. We'll depart North via the St. Giles visual reference point to climb out of Heathrow Airspace and then head over to Wycombe, south over Farnborough then down to Shoreham. Of course, some might point out "it's not really VFR" because I'm using some instruments to help navigate BUT if they're available, why not use them to assist in navigation? Also, the main reason why I've used them is to show exactly how to use different functions within the addon. En-Route, we will showcase all the systems within the JustFlight PA28 aircraft for MSFS 2020. I'll show you how to: Use the Autopilot Track NDBs using the ADF and Instrument Panel Track a VOR using the NAV1, OBS needles and Nav Unit Use the Autopilot to fly the VOR course automatically Fly a Radial away from a VOR station using the Nav System Use the HIDDEN Altitude Hold button for extra help There's lots to fit in - I hope you really enjoy it!
