Amongst the bells and church: Benenden

Taken before, during and after a quarter peal attempt of Little Bob Maximus at St George, Benenden on Friday 16th May 2025. On a rather fine evening, I finally took the drone up a little higher, recording a 360 angle of the church to the soundtrack of the Loreen's Tattoo Instrumental (just because it's Eurovision at the time of upload). The bells were founded by a mixed bunch of founders from various dates, the trebles cast in 2003 to make Benenden a 12. The soundtrack at end highlights the variations in strike note tone, the tenor being a particularly fine sounding and boomy bell. Whilst, like any ring, they are a tad oddstruck and a slight challenge here and there, they pack a good growl when they are flowing nicely to a decent rhythm. Whilst I have only every rung the back 8 and back 10 once or twice, my only time ringing the back 8 sound particularly pleasant.
