DC Kulgam Inaugurates “Curious Minds – Exploring the Wonders of Science” at KV Kulgam Kulgam, November 8: Deputy Commissioner Kulgam today inaugurated a two-day science event titled “Curious Minds – Exploring the Wonders of Science” at Kendriyah vidyaleyh Kulgam. The event is organized in collaboration with Jammu & Kashmir Students Welfare Society (JKSWWS) and Kendriya Vidyalaya Kulgam, supported by the National Council for Science & Technology Communication (NCSTC), Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. The program aims to ignite scientific curiosity and promote innovation among students by providing them with hands-on learning experiences and opportunities to showcase their talents. Event Highlights included: • Science Model Exhibition • Quiz & Science Olympiad • Robotics & Engineering Challenges • Seminars and Workshops • Disaster Management & Water Testing Activities • Student Parliament • Interactive Science Stalls Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the efforts of the organizing institutions for creating a platform that encourages scientific learning and creativity among youth. He emphasized the importance of nurturing curiosity and innovation for future scientific advancements. Principal Kendriya Vidyalaya Kulgam, Kapil, while addressing the gathering, said that such initiatives will continue to be organized in the future to foster a scientific temperament and spirit of exploration among students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of students, teachers, and science enthusiasts from across the district.
