Combo Paradiso, RightOn Session live music performance at RightOn! Straps

October 10, 2024 Combo Paradiso is a band that brings together four of the most prominent musicians from the Spanish national soul and rock scene: Juan Zelada, Julián Maeso, Adrián Costa, and Alberto Anaut. This project was born from their desire to explore new forms of musical expression, blending their Afro-American and Anglo influences with their Latin roots. The group’s name is no coincidence, as it evokes the Latin identity of its members and reflects their intention to connect with the music of Latin America and create their own musical language. The band was formed in 2020, recording their first album at the Estudios del Náutico in San Vicente, marking the beginning of this new musical journey. The project presents original songs that explore a fresh and organic sound without losing the essence of the individual careers of its members, each with a distinguished background in quality music. Combo Paradiso released their second album, titled "Todo Bien todo el rato," in May 2024, recorded at Cool Mood studios by Pablo Díez. In this album, they continue their musical exploration, aiming to connect with new audiences while maintaining their loyal followers. The quality and authenticity of their music are undeniable, and the group continues to gain ground on the national scene thanks to their innovative approach. The members of Combo Paradiso have solid backgrounds. Juan Zelada, whose career began in London, has worked with artists such as Amy Winehouse and Michael Kiwanuka. Julián Maeso has collaborated with rock and soul legends like Carlos Tarque and Leiva. Alberto Anaut, leader of the band Anaut, has been a reference on the Madrid soul scene, while Adrián Costa is one of the most recognized figures in Spanish blues, having worked with renowned musicians like Mick Taylor of The Rolling Stones. This new project, Combo Paradiso, promises to keep evolving and surprising with its sound, always maintaining the authenticity and quality that characterizes each of its members.
