THE FINAL 10 MINUTES OF RADIO 4 LONG WAVE (DROITWICH)

I managed to capture the last 10 minutes of the final shipping forecast on Radio 4 Long Wave before it ceased transmitting from Droitwich. Over half a century this station (and frequency) has entertained many thousands of homes near & far, but due to the fact that long wave listening is of a very low demand, the BBC has decided to pull the plug and now, Droitwich falls silent for the last time.
