Sete membros de time de basquete perderam a vida acidente de ônibus no Ceará (ATUALIZAÇÃO)

A bus accident on highway CE-187, near Tauá, in Ceará, unfortunately took the lives of seven athletes and left dozens injured in the early hours of Monday, June 15, 2026. The victims were young people from Juazeiro do Norte, CE. They were returning from a basketball tournament held in the city of Sobral when the vehicle overturned. According to the police, the passengers were not wearing seatbelts and were thrown out of the bus. The driver was questioned at a police station and released around 1:40 PM. The rescue began at 3:24 AM and the removal of the bodies ended around 8 AM.
