Residents of Rosa Negra Street and Avenida del Rosal report that their homes and businesses suffer severe flooding with every storm. Despite having a service request filed four months ago and having had drainage work done in March, residents say the problem persists and are demanding a long-term solution from Mayor Javier López Casarín and Secretary of Public Works Carlos Gómez Hernández. Finally, in the Miguel Hidalgo borough, the access ramp from the Anillo Periférico ring road to Paseo de la Reforma was transformed into a 30-meter-long lagoon due to completely clogged drains. The water reached a depth of 30 centimeters in its most critical area, leaving numerous drivers and motorcyclists stranded while trying to cross the road. Authorities warn that the rainy season will continue for the next few hours, so drivers are advised to exercise extreme caution on the wet pavement.
