"When you think you can't go on..." – Systemic and movement-oriented perspectives on dealing with challenging situations in early childhood education In their professional practice within the context of early childhood education, staff are regularly confronted with particular challenges that can arise at different levels and in various areas of activity (children/group, parents/families, team, space/materials, network, etc.). This presentation will introduce, develop, and discuss systemic and movement-oriented perspectives on dealing with challenging situations. We will address the following questions in a solution-oriented manner: • What challenging situations arise in our pedagogical practice? • What support options are helpful and effective when children reach or violate boundaries? • How can we perceive the developmental needs of children in everyday early childhood education and address them appropriately? • What courses of action do systemic and movement-oriented approaches and methods offer? • What resources can be activated when we reach our limits in supporting children with special needs? • What skills do we as professionals need to handle challenging situations effectively? • What role does our fundamental pedagogical approach play in this?
