India Reveals Names Of 6 Soldiers Killed In Action During Operation Sindoor For First Time

The Government of India has officially revealed, for the first time, the names of six Indian armed forces personnel who lost their lives during Operation Sindoor, the cross-border military campaign launched against terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir in May 2025. Their names have now been included in the Roll of Honour on the National War Memorial website and engraved on Wall 3D of the National War Memorial in New Delhi. The fallen personnel are Subedar Major Pawan Kumar, Rifleman Sunil Kumar (Vir Chakra), Lance Naik Dinesh Kumar, Aviation Technician Mood Muralinaik, Havildar Sunil Kumar Singh and Sergeant Surendra Kumar (Vayu Medal).
