Netra Cleared For Full Combat Duty

India's indigenous Netra Airborne Early Warning and Control system has officially received Final Operational Clearance, making it fully mission-ready after more than two decades of development. Built by DRDO and operated by the Indian Air Force, Netra acts as an airborne command centre, detecting threats, tracking enemy aircraft and coordinating air operations in real time. While smaller than the Phalcon AWACS, it provides a critical surveillance capability and has already supported operational missions, including Operation Sindoor.
