Detecting the Yard Was Good… But the Fields Were INSANE

After the incredible finds from last week’s hunt at this massive 1700s property, we knew there was still more history waiting beneath the surface… and this place didn’t disappoint. We continued working our way around the yard, digging all sorts of old relics, rare coins, and beautiful artifacts tied to the long history of this colonial home. Every section of the property seemed to tell a different story, and just when we thought things might start slowing down, the finds kept coming. Among the highlights were some incredible early relics, scarce large cents, and several really unique pieces that had us completely fired up all over again. But the biggest surprise of the day came when we decided to step out into the surrounding fields. The plan was simple… just scout around a little and see if the fields might be worth coming back to in the future. What happened instead was something none of us expected. In a very short amount of time, the field started producing one great signal after another, far beyond anything we imagined we’d find during a quick scouting session. Before long, we realized some of the best finds from the entire property weren’t coming from the yard at all… they were coming from out in the middle of these open fields. Needless to say… this was no ordinary scouting trip. What started as a simple test run completely changed the way we looked at this property, and now the anticipation for a full return trip to these fields is through the roof.
