Over 60 Pieces of Silver So Far… and We Barely Scratched the Surface!

Last year while metal detecting we stumbled onto this field and it absolutely blew our minds. From the very first trip we kept pulling silver coins, silver spoons, and all sorts of other treasures with each and every trip back. In the end we probably dug close to 80 silver spoons, along with fistfuls of silver coins, large cents, pins, brooches, and a ton of really unique relics that told an incredible story about this property. It was one of those once-in-a-lifetime sites… but there's no way its empty! Fast forward to now. The winter snow has finally melted, the ground has thawed out, and we couldn’t stay away any longer. So we’re heading back to what I call The Silver Spoon Graveyard to see what else this place has left to give. But this time, we’re not going in with the same setup.
