CHEATING DEATH AT AUSTRALIA'S DEADLIEST CROCODILE CROSSING! This video was filmed by our travelling friends Angie and Rob during their recent visit to Kakadu National Park. Cahills Crossing at Kakadu is probably one of the most infamous water crossings in the world due to the incredible power of the changing tides and the hundreds of saltwater crocodiles that call the East Alligator River home. The natural behaviours of the crocodiles at Cahills is a phenomenon and every year thousands of visitors flock to Kakadu to catch a glimpse of these incredible apex predators fishing for barramundi on the turn of the tide. While Cahills Crossing is easily passable during low tide (we have even done it!), unfortunately many drivers attempt the crossing in extremely unsafe conditions, putting their lives, and the lives of others at risk. Every body of water in northern Australia is considered a crocodile country.
