Another day in the breathtaking Berchtesgaden region – and of course, the perfect hike was a must! 🌄 Early in the morning, I started at the Seeklause parking lot by the Hintersee lake and immediately immersed myself in the stunning scenery of the Klausbach Valley. Surrounded by steep rock faces and pristine nature, the trail led me to the idyllic Halsalm alpine pasture – a true highlight with a breathtaking view. Along the way, I made an exciting stop at the bearded vulture observation station and learned more about these majestic returning birds of the Alps. Once at the top, a well-deserved break awaited: a delicious snack and a refreshing respite amidst the mountains. 🥾 Refreshed, I headed back towards the Hintersee – but the adventure wasn't over yet: past the famous photo spot and into the mystical Enchanted Forest, where gnarled trees and moss-covered rocks create an almost fairytale atmosphere.
