Muhammad Muwakil

Muhammad is an artist living in and working out of the Caribbean. His self-published book of poems is entitled “Forgetful Road”. He is a writer, musician, and the lead singer and creative director of the band, Freetown Collective. As one of the founders of the spoken word movement in Trinidad and Tobago, an actor in several local stage productions and movies, writer and creative director of the 2021 productions "M.A.S." and "Lavway" and a visual artist, his vast creative experiences have been shaped by and seek to shape the space in which he was born.
