Recruiting The Fatherless

RECRUITING THE FATHERLESS is Track IV from the Christian testimony album FROM DEAD ENDS TO KINGDOM ROADS. This track exposes how gangs, crews, cartels, criminal organizations, and manipulative street influences target wounded and overlooked young people by offering counterfeit family, protection, identity, money, and respect. Many young people are not first drawn toward destruction because they love violence. They are searching for belonging. They may be carrying the pain of an absent father, an addicted household, poverty, hunger, rejection, abuse, or the feeling that nobody sees their value. The enemy studies those wounds and turns them into bait. This song does not glorify gang culture or condemn every young person trapped inside it. It confronts the systems and lies that exploit fatherless children while reminding listeners that personal choices still carry real consequences. I use my own real recorded voice as the primary narrator, testimony voice, and biblical authority. Cinematic supporting voices portray a teenager, recruiter, mother, absent father, mentor, and neighborhood community. The streets may offer chains disguised as brotherhood, but Jesus Christ offers forgiveness, adoption, identity, discipline, purpose, and a Kingdom family. “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15 KJV You do not have to prove your worth by destroying yourself. You are seen. You are wanted. You are not abandoned. You can receive a new identity through Jesus Christ.
