Episode 10 – Down the garden path part 1 #roxysjournalofstitchery Vol 3
I am joining in #roxysjournalofstitchery Vol 3 ‘Down the garden path’. This week’s prompt is ‘wildflowers’. I appliqué and embroider wildflowers from photos I have taken while bushwalking around various parts of New South Wales. I play with scale, ‘zooming in’ on the wildflowers, just as I do when I take photos of the flowers. I sew calliopsis (actually considered a weed here), mountain devil, Kunzea parvifolia, large wedge-pea and Tea Tree blossom. A big thank you to Rachel @roxycreations679 and Sarah @roxycreationsbysarah for creating this fun and creative challenge.
